This was HUNOSA’s first diversification project. Declared to be of preferential interest by the European Union, it is an atmospheric circulating fluidised bed plant with a power of 50 Mwe.
It uses a mixture of 62% medium ash made up of 400,000 tons/year of waste fines, a small percentage of run-of-mine coal and wood waste. It operates for 6,500 hours a year, obtaining a saving in power of around 50,000 Tec/year |
